Karnataka – Celebrating Folk Culture

Karnataka’s social fabric is embellished with the presence of several communities, including pastoral and tribal. Their traditional handicrafts have enriched the state’s repertoire of visual art forms. Presence of different communities, each with a distinct set of cultural practices makes Karnataka a Salad Bowl of cultures. Each community, thus, retaining its distinct identity, yet basking in the Kannadiga identity.
